“I do not take for granted the trust our clients place in us. It’s a true privilege to work on behalf of the individuals we get to meet, and I do everything I can possibly think of to obtain good outcomes for them.”

About Tiba Fatli

Tiba graduated from Northeastern University School of Law (“NUSL”) which is known for producing excellent public interest attorneys. While still in school, Tiba worked as a student attorney and a researcher for NUSL’s Prisoners’ Rights Clinic and was accepted as a fellow to the school’s Center for Appellate Litigation. Tiba has worked at the ACLU’s Southern California Jails Team, where she gained invaluable experience advocating for incarcerated individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. She worked for a federal court judge in the District of Massachusetts and at the Center for Constitutional Rights, where she concentrated on federal impact litigation as well as civil and constitutional rights.

Tiba is known for her client-centered advocacy approach, her outstanding research and writing skills, her strategic thinking, as well as her ability to digest and manage massive document productions. Tiba and Ari have been working together since 2024. Ari has been quoted as saying that:

“Tiba is relentless. She simply does not give up when arguing about something she feels strongly about. She’s a true believer and that’s what fuels her extraordinary work ethic and zealous advocacy. I’d hate to litigate against her.”

Prior to law school, Tiba worked with various international and national organizations, advocating for refugees and immigration rights. At the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, she focused on ensuring the implementation of international refugee law and statelessness law in Egypt, Iraq, and the United States. She also contributed to these efforts through her work with the International Refugee Assistance Project.

Tiba is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
